Advanced ADHD Practitioner & Independent Prescriber

I am a mental health nurse with 19 years of experience working in various clinical settings of mental and learning disability health services such as: Forensic Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Prison Services, Learning Disability and Autistic Spectrum Services, Old Adult Mental Health Services, Substance Misuse and Eating Disorder Services.  


I have the Independent and Supplementary Prescribing qualification (V300). 

My career for the last 4 years has been focused on providing comprehensive care and support to individuals with ADHD, employing a range of both medical and non-medical treatment approaches. 


I possess a clear understanding of the difficulties and interplay of potential mental health issues within ADHD.  


Being a member of the Royal College of Nursing, I am dedicated to maintaining a strong connection with the latest progress and improvements in my field. This commitment ensures that my practice stays well-informed and current. 

I am a valuable team player with strong leadership skills who thrives in intellectually stimulating working environments.  I have good team working skills and have been able to demonstrate this throughout my previous and current roles. 


I play an active role in advocating for awareness around neurodiversity with a view of working towards reducing the stigma surrounding ADHD and indeed mental health.  

Outside of my role, I enjoy travelling, listening to music and exploring new cultures.  and playing football.
