I started my career in Pharmacy and have worked in a pharmacy for over 16 years after completing my Masters in 2006. This experience has allowed me to be in touch with a multitude of people from various backgrounds and has proved invaluable in helping my patients to come from a place of understanding. I am an independent prescriber and specialise in Mental Health and in particular have vast experience of ADHD and ASD. Mental health is of interest to me as this is a field that was often historically overlooked and not accounted for when consulting with patients, the impact of this can be detrimental and the impact of addressing and helping patients can be lifesaving and life changing, and I love being involved in that journey with my patients. I have a love for learning and try to incorporate that into my consultations in a easily digestible manner as I believe that education on ourselves can lead us to achieve remarkable things from a place of deep understanding.
