Independent Prescriber
I began my journey in 2011 when I graduated with a Masters in Pharmacy and then went on to complete my independent prescribing qualification in 2015; both of which provided me with a strong foundation. I have worked in community pharmacy, GP surgeries and was a lead covid vaccinator. I have my own aesthetics clinic which I run along with my wife. I also work for the out of hours urgent care centre (111). My primary focus as a pharmacist is specialising in Adult ADHD. My work focuses on utilising my skills to make a positive impact in the lives of those with ADHD.
I have always been deeply invested and interested in learning about ADHD as I have seen very important people in my life trying to steer and navigate their life with ADHD. Working within ADHD clinics has given me first hand experience in seeing how receiving the correct help and treatment for ADHD can truly be life changing.
I am a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), which ensures my professional standards and ethics are upheld. It is vital that I continuously enhance, add to and improve my professional development and skills in order to work at my best level and treat patients in a way that can truly benefit them. In order to do this, I ensure I stay on top of the latest advancements in the field. I also ensure to attend training events as well as comply with the yearly CPD requirements.
Throughout my personal and professional life, I have always felt growth is very important and I therefore make sure to stay up to date with all recent and relevant information with ADHD as well as developing my skills and knowledge in order to provide the best care to my patients.
Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for sports. I regularly go to the gym as well as play football. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two children, who make anything I am doing enjoyable!
