Graduated having completed and achieved a Masters in Pharmacy degree from University of Bath in 2009 and obtained further postgraduate qualifications including Postgraduate Diploma from University of Keele and Independent Prescribing qualification from De Montford University (Leicester). I am a motivated and hardworking pharmacist with extensive patient contact and consultation experience having been involved in managing community pharmacies for a leading multiple and an independent chain and more recently I have provided multiple years of service to the NHS at various grades from residency to senior levels.
My experience working in an acute NHS trust alongside different medical teams on ward-based level across various specialities including Stroke Medicine, Healthcare of Older Person, General Medical Admissions and High Dependency Units (Level 1 Enhanced Care & Level 2 Critical Care) has tailored my approach to managing various patients groups. My experience in providing clinical ward service combined with experience in senior level position as a Medicine Safety and Education pharmacist has broadened my clinical knowledge through risk management and involvement in several safety and medicine optimisation projects in implementation of change to reduce the risks of preventable harm caused by prescribing and medications.
I am driven to providing an excellent clinical service and ensuring that patients receive the safest and best medicinal care to ensure healthcare professionals input has contributed towards continued quality care and improving quality of life. Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council and always acts according to the standards to ensue that the optimal patient care is provided for patients under my care. Always keen to learn and keep up to date with the latest developments in an evolving healthcare by keeping up to date with Continual Professional Development.
