I am a motivated, well-organised and hard-working person who thrives on challenge, and I take great pride in my work. I have well-developed verbal and written communication skills. I enjoy working in a team and can build a rapport with a wide range of different people from different background. I have a particular interest in dual diagnosis and substance misuse in adults and young people. I worked as a dual diagnosis nurse. My work was to raise capabilities, skills, and confidence of adult mental health staff for them to be able to work with dual diagnosis clients and my job involved doing joint assessment, brief intervention, and training staff on basic drug awareness. I also facilitated practice development group in mental health Teams. I advised mental health and substance misuse staff on care pathways for dual diagnosis clients. I did supervised staff on their substance misuse clients. I also implemented drug and alcohol strategies for mental health clients.
