ADHD Testing Methods
The ASRS (Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale) is a screening tool developed by the World Health Organization and the Workgroup on Adult ADHD. It's used for indicating symptoms of ADHD in adults but should not be used for self-diagnosis. A score below 4 on the ASRS suggests an absence of ADHD, and the first 6 questions can identify almost 70% of individuals with ADHD. An accurate diagnosis requires assessment by a qualified specialist [ADHD UK, ADHDadultUK, ADHD CARE, Neuropsychology Dorset, ADHD Consultancy].
