Elective Access Policy

Fair Access for Every Patient

Whether you are accessing our services through the NHS or privately, we are committed to providing fair, timely and high-quality care. Every referral is considered according to clinical need to ensure patients receive the most appropriate support.

How Referrals Work

NHS referrals are accepted through recognised NHS referral pathways, while private patients can self-refer or be referred by their GP or another healthcare professional. All referrals are reviewed promptly, with urgent cases prioritised where clinically appropriate.

Waiting Times & Appointments

We aim to minimise waiting times for every patient. NHS referrals follow Referral to Treatment (RTT) standards where applicable, while private patients are offered appointments as quickly as possible. Patients are kept informed throughout their journey and can choose appointment dates where available.

Patient-Centred Care

Our team believes in clear communication, compassionate care and involving patients in decisions about their treatment. We are committed to providing an accessible service and making reasonable adjustments where required to support individual needs.
