Pharmacist

After completing my Master's in Pharmacy at the University of Bath in 2009, I have continued to enhance my qualifications with a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Keele and an Independent Prescribing qualification from De Montfort University, Leicester. I am a highly motivated pharmacist with substantial experience in managing community pharmacies and providing years of service to the NHS at various levels, from residency to senior roles.

In my recent role at an acute NHS trust, I collaborated with diverse medical teams across specialties like Stroke Medicine and Critical Care, refining my patient management skills. My senior position as a Medicine Safety and Education Pharmacist has broadened my clinical knowledge, particularly in risk management and the implementation of safety and medicine optimisation projects aimed at reducing preventable harm from medications.

As a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, I uphold the highest standards to ensure that patients under my care receive optimal treatment. My commitment to continuous professional development ensures I remain current with the latest industry developments, enhancing my ability to provide quality care and improve patient outcomes.
